FBT – Fringe Benefits Tax Compliance Cost Review

The Taxation Board of Review is conducting a review of costs of complying with FBT.

As part of the review, the Board is seeking to estimate compliance costs and identify reasons for these costs.

The review may affect our readers in several ways:

  • you may want to consider registering to participate in focus groups (currently proposed for Sydney CBD and Canberra) – scheduled to be held in August 2018;
  • your organization may be selected to participate in on-line surveys – scheduled to be held in late August/early September 2018;
  • other stakeholders may choose to participate in a public on-line survey – scheduled to be held in late August/early September 2018; or
  • your organization may want to consider registering to participate in case study interviews – scheduled to be held in October 2018.
