Please note that this module – ‘FBT and Entertainment for the Northern Territory Government’ – discusses concepts which presumes some prior knowledge. To get the most out of this module it is recommended that you first undertake the following FBT online training which is accessible from the Northern Territory Government training portal:

To complete the module simply work through each of the videos and practice tips in order followed by a final assessment. You may retake the final assessment if you do not achieve the required 100% pass mark.

This training is designed to provide an understanding of:

  • Basic FBT rules regarding entertainment type expenditures;
  • The Northern Territory Government authorisation and general ledger coding rules relating to entertainment type expenditures; and
  • How FBT applies to some common examples of entertainment type expenditures
