Our Story
Back in 2003, TaxEd was created due to a clear lack of training and support for all levels of Government and Not-for-Profits who were trying to navigate their way through the GST.
Since then, TaxEd have increased our offerings to 5 areas of tax (GST, FBT, Payroll, Salary Packaging and Eligibility), becoming a leading provider of taxation support and training services to the Government and Not-for-profit sector across Australia. We have provided 1000’s of hours of online, face-to-face, and in-house training and tax guidance, to our members.
Through our services, our member organisations have been able to more smoothly and effectively navigate the ever-changing tax landscape.
Leaders in tax support for Governments and NFPs
Since commencement, TaxEd has become recognised as a leading provider of taxation support and training services to the Government and Not-for-profit sectors across Australia.
Some highlights of our journey:
2024: TaxEd delivers its 2024 FBT Roadshow to its largest audience to date.
2017: TaxEd becomes a registered Tax Agent; allowing the team to provide tax advice; prepare private rulings, and lodge objections for members and non-members alike.
2016: TaxEd begins offering feature webinars, offering content outside the realm of the standard five tax areas. Two webinars on Fuel Tax Credits are run to great success.
2015: Federal Budget summary for Government’s and NFPs was launched. It immediately became the most downloaded TaxEd document to date.
2012: TaxEd provides its first online, collaborative Professional Certificate course.
2007: TaxEd introduced the Eligibility module, catering to Not-for-profit organisations for information regarding tax exemptions.
2006: TaxEd introduced 2 new tax areas with Payroll and Salary Packaging added to FBT, GST and Eligibility.
2004: We launched the membership support program with many members continuing a successful relationship with TaxEd.
2003: TaxEd launched with the idea that “There was a clear lack of training and support for all levels of Government and Not-for-Profits who were trying to navigate their way through the GST. Complications around funding and property were creating nightmares for finance staff trying to make sense of a new tax. Add to this the confusion around FBT, and TaxEd had a lot of ground to cover”.
